At Hans & Grietje, a cozy atmosphere and hospitality are of paramount importance. To guarantee this for everyone, we use various house rules. Our house rules aim to maintain a safe and hospitable restaurant. All instructions from our employees about these house rules must be followed immediately.
General house rules
- We do our utmost to meet everyone’s preference with regard to table choice, unfortunately this is not always possible. Please understand this.
- It is forbidden to carry weapons. If weapons are found, the police will be called immediately.
- Any form of aggression towards guests and staff is prohibited. Annoying and/or offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Possessing, using or dealing in narcotics is prohibited.
- Pets are allowed in the restaurant on a leash.
- In accordance with the law, we do not serve alcohol to guests under the age of 18. When in doubt, we will ask for identification.
- Property of our restaurant may not be taken outside or moved without consultation. If you are found to have caused damage or destruction, you will be held fully liable for repair and/or renewal.
- Hans & Grietje cannot be held liable for loss, theft or any damage whatsoever suffered by the guest, unless the damage is the direct result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the catering company. However, we always try to find a suitable solution, for example by compensating the damage that is related to the event on which the liability is based.
- We ask you to hand in found items that do not belong to you to one of the employees.
- You must inform us of allergies/allergens so that we can do everything we can to take this into account.
- Camera surveillance: By visiting our restaurant you agree that video recordings can be made. After disturbances or accidents, recordings can be shown to third parties.
Anyone who visits Hans & Grietje’s grounds and pancake house automatically and unconditionally submits to the provisions of these internal regulations.
